Bath Time

Look who has decided bath time isn't so bad after all!  Being lowered into a lazy tub of warm water that you can splash in is kinda. . .nice.  Yes.  No more tears.

In fact, he was so pleased with his current situation that we decided to let him linger in his warm delight.  With a little washcloth blanket in place he happily chilled out for quite a bit.  Oh, good baby.

2 Months Old

Oh my, how time flies.  I can hardly believe he's already 2 months old.  In the past month he has really started to amp up the heart stealing with his goofy smiles and sideways glances.  Here, let me show you what I mean.

BAM!  Heart stolen with the blue steel look.

BAM!  Heart stolen cause he even smiles in his sleep!

He's hitting all his milestones and the Dr says he's in the 75-90% for size and weight.  He still has all the same eating habits and sleeping habits.  He still hates getting baths and loves being read to.  But it wasn't all good news when we went to his Dr appointment.  It was time for the dreaded immunizations.  1 oral and 3 by injection.  Sam screamed, I cried, Morgan laughed.  Poor baby and his little sore legs.

Oh - and I'm so happy that I picked up this size 12 month suit from the after Easter sale rack!  Sometime in the future I will have a little man in a little suit with a little pinstriped button up vest and a little clip on tie!  Even Morgan couldn't say no when he saw it.

And with that I will end with his latest in the owl photo series.

One of us Still Works

Hey!  Looky here!  A post that doesn't involve my crotch parasite!

At the risk of jinxing it, things have been looking up for the hubby at work.  He's in line for one of several promotions.  He's the lone cubical slave that has been selected for training seminars and meetings for his region.  He has been requested multiple times to head projects and cross train others in what he does.  And to go along with these professional thingies he had to create a bio.  Like, a real bio.  Who he is, where he went to school, what he specializes in, what his hobbies are, and his family life.  And he needed a picture for said bio.  He asked me to take it for him.  Mehe.

Blah.  It's fine.  Nothing special.  He doesn't like it, but then he doesn't like any photos of himself.  But what you can't see is the rest of the outfit.  Short tie, tight sweatpants, barefoot.  This is what happens when you work from home.  I still think THIS should be his bio photo.

More Baby Stuff

It's hard to find time to post.  Well, honestly, it's hard to find time to shower.  And when I do have time to post it's Baby, Baby, Baby.  I'm not apologizing, just saying I am aware.  Aware that I am in full on mommy mode with nothing else really going on.  That said - let me share some cute!

1 Month Owl

My SIL gave me the great idea of taking a photo of Sam with the same item every month.  That way in a year I'll have a sort of flip book of growth.  And so starts the "month owl" photo series!  Squee!
